Gabriela is the fifth-born and last of three girls in a litter that represents the very best of English Labrador breeding. Her sire Simba is a direct son of MBISS GCHB CH Lakeside Memoir of Gallivant ("Memo") — one of the most decorated Labradors of his era. Memo's ring record speaks for itself: 2× Westminster Kennel Club Best of Breed, Potomac Best of Breed, LRC National Specialty Best of Breed, AKC National Dog Show Best of Breed, and Challenge Certificate at Crufts. Her dam Deanna was sired by MBISS GCH CH Gallivant Wellington, a multi-Group winner out of the legendary MBISS GCH CH Paradocs Obsidian — a Reserve Best in Show winner whose influence on the breed runs deep.

Both BISS GCH CH Big Pine Faith in Africa and MBISS GCH CH Paradocs Obsidian — two cornerstones of the modern English Labrador — appear on both sides of Gabriela's pedigree, a convergence that reflects exactly the kind of intentional, multi-generational selection that produces dogs of lasting quality.
